March Mantel

It is that time again-

A new month, a new mantel.

Here we go....

Seeing green.

Doing my usual "cluster arrangement".

I used all of my green glass, and 

other green hued items. I just love

mixing it up.

Used my bunting from last year.

I also pinned on some of my 

vintage loomed flowers I make.

I had to have a vintage potholder displayed.

Both of the above left birds, were thrifted,

and are porcelain.

They were in their  natural colors,

till I sprayed painted them in shades of green.

Owl is in Krylon Ivy leaf

and Grouse is in Jade by Valspar.

Candelabra on right was black and is rod iron.

I of course spray painted it in Coral Isle by Krylon.

More of my owl friends.

I like using votives in my glass ware.

It glows so beautifully day and night.

That is framed Anna Maria Horner fabric 

in the back. I love framing fabric. It is instant art.

Green is such a gorgeous color to decorate with,

whether your Irish or not.
